Executive Plan for the National Priorities for Strengthening the Response to Gender-Based Violence, Domestic Violence and Child Protection 2021-2023
The executive plan for the National Priorities Matrix to enhance the system of protection against gender-based violence, domestic violence, and child protection complements the measures for establishing the executive framework of the National Priorities Matrix to enhance the family protection system at the national level, which was adopted by the Prime Minister. This continues the role of the National Family Protection Team outlined in Law No. 33 of 2016 in monitoring the implementation of national priorities related to the protection system.
The National Priorities Matrix to enhance the protection system has been developed into an operational mechanism that translates these priorities into actionable activities and establishes a clear monitoring framework. The National Council for Family Affairs, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund, updated the matrix based on the results of the regional survey conducted by the United Nations Fund under the "Essential Services Package" program. This aims to enhance access to a coordinated range of essential and quality multisectoral services in health, social services, police, and justice sectors for all cases affected by gender-based violence.
