Second periodic report submitted by the United Arab Emirates under Article 44 of the Convention (CRC)

The present report presents key achievements and measures adopted by the Government of the Emirates during 2002-2012 in the area of children’s rights, including the most important national mechanisms established by the Government to strengthen and protect children’s rights in different areas. The present report also explains key initiatives and best practices developed by the Government of the Emirates to ensure the fulfilment of its international obligations in the area of children’s rights in particular and to highlight the record of its achievements in strengthening and protecting human rights in general.
