The report provides updated information on the measures taken between 2007 and 2019 pursuant to the provisions of the Convention and in light of the guidelines for the submission of periodic reports (CMW/C/2008/1) and the recommendations (CMW/C/SYR/CO/1) that were adopted by the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families at its 85th meeting held on 24 April 2008 following the discussion of the initial report of the Syrian Arab Republic.
