Combined third to fifth periodic reports submitted by Mauritania under article 44 of the Convention, due in 2013 (CRC)

This report constitutes the third, fourth, and fifth periodic reports of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the country’s implementation of the Convention and highlights the progress made and the problems that still hamper the effective fulfillment of some obligations under the Convention.

It sets out the measures taken to follow up on the observations and recommendations made by the Committee on the Rights of the Child subsequent to its review of the second periodic report at its meeting on 12 June 2009.

The first part of the report provides general information on the country, while the second highlights the measures taken to implement the Convention.
