Sixth periodic report submitted by Jordan under article 18 of the Convention (CEDAW)

The report reviews the progress achieved in complying with international commitments to uphold human rights which include the rights of women to participate in economic, social, cultural and political development and in public life.
Additionally, the report reviews relevant national legislation, policy, strategy and planning, as well as the efforts of bodies seeking to promote sustainable development and considers the extent to which these take gender into account.
