This Gender Mainstreaming Strategy 2021-2024 (GMS) of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) is a military sector national policy framework relevant to the Kingdom of Jordan’s efforts to support national and regional security and stability. The Strategy provides a policy framework for the implementation of commitments of Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and gender equality in line with the Jordanian National Action Plan (JONAP) for the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on Women, Peace and Security 2018-2021, National Strategy for Women 2020-2025, Gender Mainstreaming Policy, Jordan Response Plan for the Syria Crisis 2020-2022 and Comprehensive National Plan for Human Rights 2016-2025. |
