The National Strategy for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration (2016-2026)

The national strategy aims to protect the groups at risk of exploitation by smugglers, who are young people, children, their families, women and illegal migrants coming Egypt, and aims to prevent and punish brokers and traders of illegal immigration through strict measures and sanctions, and to build and strengthen the capabilities of governmental agencies involved in implementing the strategy such as law enforcement agencies, educational, religious, media and national councils, as well as the civil society.
