This strategy aims to prioritize the active participation of women in economic development activities and decision-making activities whether political, traditional or religious. It also seeks to advance women’s and girls’ empowerment, their rights to education and health (including reproductive health of women and adolescent girls), their legal status and enforcement of women's and girls' human rights and institutional mechanisms.
