Jordan National Social Protection Strategy 2019 - 2025

July 2019

The Jordan National Social Protection Strategy articulates the government’s commitment to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and to provide a “social protection floor” in the context of the Kingdom’s vision for a state of solidarity, production, and justice.

The strategy is organized around three pillars:

  1. Decent work and social security;
  2. Social Assistance; and
  3. Social Services; providing an analysis of the existing situation and challenges in each of those pillars, as well as identifying the high priority actions for each of the sectors.
