Women's Empowerment Strategy in the Economic Modernization Vision Executive Program (2023-2025)

The Executive Program for the Economic Modernisation Vision (2023-2025) reflects the government’s commitment to delivering the Modernisation Vision as a key pillar in the comprehensive modernisation process led by His Majesty. King Abdullah II. The program focuses on political, economic, and administrative spheres, including initiatives, projects, legislation, and priority measures in the various development sectors, which all relevant ministries and institutions will put into practice within the timelines contained therein. 

The Executive Program includes initiatives associated with women’s economic empowerment, including legislative reviews and measures to improve Jordan’s ranking in the Global Gender Gap Index, as well as implementing the action plan related to improving Jordan’s ranking in the Women, Business, and the Law Report, in addition to developing a national index to monitor and track women’s economic participation.
