Combined eighth to tenth periodic reports submitted by Egypt under article 18 of the Convention (CEDAW)

The report covers the progress that Egypt has made to enhance the status women in accordance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The report follows the general guidelines on the form and content of periodic reports that States parties are required to submit, and addresses, as directed by the Committee, the extent to which the State has implemented the Convention and the changes that it has made and the measures it has taken to implement the recommendations set out in the Committee’s previous concluding observations.
