The National Strategy for Combating Violence against Women (2015-2020)

The National Strategy was developed to create “a safe society that guarantees protection for women, provides integrated services, and is committed to fulfilling women's rights and ensuring their effective and equitable participation in social, economic, political and cultural life.”
The strategy defines the different forms of VAW, and it includes four main pillars: Prevention Pillar; Protection Pillar; Services Intervention; and Legal Prosecution.
