The National Strategy for Combatting Violence against Women in Algeria (2006-2011) (in French)

This strategy aimed to strengthen national capacities at the technical and institutional levels, and leverage coordination between the government and elected bodies at the national and local levels, and between civil society. 

This strategy was implemented through community and social mobilization and partnerships – i.e. advocacy, diversification of partners – with the aim of advancing the legal reforms and changing mindsets in society.
