This Action Plan aims to implement the National Strategy for Women in Lebanon 2011-2021 prepared by the National Commission for Lebanese Women (NCLW) in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and with the participation of ministries and official departments directly concerned with women’s issues, as well as civil society organizations (CSOs) active in advancing the status of women. This plan seeks to achieve tangible progress in terms of eliminating all forms of discrimination between women and men and achieving gender equality across various fields.
