Social Development Sector Strategy (2021-2023) (in Arabic only)
This strategy embraces the concept of social development as "a process of societal change, focusing on the empowerment of society, strengthening its overall resilience and that of its individuals and institutions, and aiming at improving and enhancing the quality of life for all, providing social protection and basic services to poor and vulnerable families, enabling them to enjoy a decent life and decent employment opportunities". The strategy links marginalization to unemployment, poverty, and violence in its various forms (Israeli occupation violence, gender-based violence, violence against children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly), discrimination, deprivation, dropping out of education, engaging in negative behaviors, weak political and social participation, limited access to resources, and more.
