National Action Plan on Birth Spacing 2014-2018 (in French only)

Mauritania has shifted its family planning priorities to focus on birth spacing as an appropriate strategy to improve the availability of family planning and other health services. The Ministry of Health, with support from technical and financial partners, developed this National Action Plan to increase modern contraceptive prevalence rates for married women from 11% in 2013 to 18.5% in 2018.
